A Fresh New Year is Here! With a brand new start. A new year that has brought along a new window of opportunity to pause and take some time out to have a look at our needs and wants and most importantly what we have already in our Life, professions and our family.
Who gets to leave and who gets to stay! It’s up to you. After all it’s your Circle of Life. We always have someone who finds time for a small hug or a word of encouragement when you need it the most. Yes you got it. And those are the kind of people you need to surround yourself with through this year. Keep the air positive and fun filled in 2017.
While we cannot stop meeting the people, who add a cloud to our sunshine, cos they are people, who are close to us like family members or co-workers or someone you have known for years. Just by the virtue of the relationship it becomes unavoidable to meet and greet.
But we can stop their negativity from flowing in to our lives by limiting the time we spend with them. We can set a limit with them too. Clearly telling them that they have crossed the line by becoming too critical of us or spreading negative vibes by talking about other people behind their backs.
What we don’t realize is while it might be fun to hear gossip about others, but it is for a limited time. Eventually all the negative talk and gossip takes over our life and seeps into our relationships too. It’s like standing close to someone in mud soiled clothes and laughing, we could get splattered too!
The best way to take care of this is by making journal or diary entries by writing down the names of people in the list of positive vibes and negative vibes. This makes it easier to plan out on spending more time with positive vibes-growing people and limiting the time spent with positive vibes-dimming ones!
Knowing someone since high school does not give them a free weekly entry into your house for the rest of your life.
You do not have to tolerate mistreatment in your work place always just because you work with or report to someone. Again you decide to spend time with the right people.
